			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>With temps in the mid 70s and days full of sunshine, Breckenridge is the place to be for 4th of July. Lots of things to look forward to like the Parade, Firecracker 50, Free concert, and of course the Fireworks! The Firecracker 50, a professional 50-mile mountain bike race goes off at 9:30am with the parade to follow at 10am. There is also a 10k Trail Running Race starting at 7am. Rusted Root will be playing a free concert at the Riverwalk center at 2pm! Also, in addition to the weekend-long July Art Festival, the Breckenridge Arts District opens thier doors Saturday, July 2 for kids&#8217; make-and-take art projects, music, a sidewalk chalk art competition with cash prizes and more. To end festivities the National Repertory Otrchestra will be putting on a patriotic concert at the Riverwalk center, this concert begins at 8:30pm, with Fireworks to follow! There&#8217;s plenty to do for the whole family this 4th of July in Breckenridge so come stay with us at Blue Sky!</p>

I attended last year and it was just the perfect way to spend the afternoon after a morning of skiing at Breckenridge. Thw festival takes place in the Main Street Station plaza, a short walk from Blue Sky, or an even shorter ride in the Blue Sky shuttle! This event tends to sell out so get your mugs asap!</p>

<p>The fresh tracks on Show White were well worth the hike from the top of the Imperial Chair and it was so warm I even had to take off my jacket for a few runs.</p>
<p>So if you are looking for amazing spring time skiing, head to Breck, because it just does not get any better!</p>

<p><strong>Lundi Gras Free Concert Monday &#8211; March 7, 2011</strong><br />
Come get down to the incredible sounds of “BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet” at the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center Monday evening. They have been crowned one of the best Cajun dance bands of our times. They&#8217;re one of the few bands playing traditional Louisiana music to win Grammy awards (for “L&#8217; Amour Ou La Folie” in 1997 and for “Live At the 2008 New Orleans Jazz &amp; Heritage Festival BeauSoleil &amp; Michael Douce” in 2009).Hurricanes and full concessions will be available.<br />

NEW THIS YEAR: The procession will start on North Main Street where Ullerfest and 4th of July parades and head south to Park Avenue. Float space is limited. Restaurants will hold post-parade parties throughout town with drink specials, music and more revelry.</p>
